I went to the cinema recently, mostly because I hadn’t been in a while. My choices were “Caught Stealing” or a comedy, and since I usually prefer dramas and thrillers, the choice was easy. It was definitely the right call. I was genuinely impressed and thought it was one of the better new movies I’ve seen lately. With so many sequels and remakes clogging up theaters, it was great to see a plot that felt genuinely new and different.

Going in, all I had seen was the trailer from my last trip to the movies, so I didn’t know much about the story, which made the plot twists that much more enjoyable. I had checked the star ratings beforehand, but I was really betting on the director and the cast, and they didn’t disappoint. It’s always nice to be in a theater, and the daytime screening, with the big screen and immersive sound, was a perfect way to experience it.
