While going to the cinema isn’t typically a group activity, sometimes it’s delightful to have someone seated beside you. When someone makes a remark like, “I would watch that,” to a trailer, you seize the opportunity. Fortunately, this movie belonged firmly to the thriller genre rather than horror, or else I might have found myself alone during future visits to the cinema.

As an M. Night Shyamalan film, I had certain expectations of exciting twists, and I was not let down. It was an enjoyable experience trying to anticipate the plot’s direction, and thankfully, the movie wasn’t excessively long. “Trap” was a well-crafted thriller that is definitely worth watching.
